To make bamboo flooring, bamboo stalks are first harvested. Stalks are then split and flattened with steam into planks that are either nailed down or glued. The result is a smooth strong floor, that is easy to care for. Bamboo flooring comes in a natural shade as well as a dark shade. This old, yet "new" material, is slowly becoming more popular among homeowners. See photos below.
