Our warm water brine shrimp (only grown in Hawaii) can live in room temperature water as well as cooler or warmer water (regular brine shrimp are cold water and need refrigeration). Because of this fact, Hawaii's warm water brine shrimp are a very hearty breed. These brine shrimp are Hawaiian grown as food for all types of fish. The warm water brine shrimp are also good food for sea horses, shrimp and prawns. Our brine shrimp can even feed jellyfish. |
| Since these are salt water brine shrimp, they will live in salt water until eaten. In fresh water, the brine shrimp should live long enough to be fish food! These brine shrimp can live through all kinds of stress and only require enough salt water volume (for oxygen) to stay alive. If kept under the correct conditions, these brine shrimp can live for weeks! |
